My wedding jewelry was entirely polki, pearls and gold. I regret buying it as it was hell expensive but has little resale value. I do get lots of complement for the look but def. it wasn't a smart purchase and wudnt recommend to anyone😔
Thanks Naqsa for starting this thread. I have been looking online for jewellery for my wedding. Polki and kundan is on the top list but I keep hearing how its not worth it (Thanks fairygirl for the feedback) because weight of the gold is calculated based on the final weight (which includes the weight of the stone so at the end its not worth it)
I am still going back and forth with what to get.
Would love it hear what everyone thinks

I am in the same boat as you. I love jewellery with stones let it be diamonds or other elements. I sold my gold bracelet with zircon stones when the prices were on peak but didn't get the worth of it. It's a smart purchase if you don't intend to sell it at any point. Else you might regret it. I am looking into minimum stones jewellery these days for my wedding.
Good luck
Thanks for your feedback! It's so hard to look away from polki. I'm currently looking at designs from Neemar (Shazia Deen) and Ocean Gems - both in Lahore. The ones that REALLY appeal to me are their fusion designs- diamond and polki. Although resale of these prices is not something I'm intending, one can't help but think about it. So hard!!!
I'm still going back and forth between Neemar and Ocean Gems. The guy that owns OG used to be at Neemar so very similar designs. He's very accommodating interns of customizations. If I end up placing the order, I'll share the final product.
