Re: buying Diamond jewellery online

Yes, don’t buy your diamond jewelry from Pakistan. I guarantee you that you can learn more about diamonds with some time spent online than 99% of the jewelers in PK!

The absolute BEST way that I know of to learn about diamonds is Diamond Prices: Diamond Jewelry Facts, Diamond Tools and Consumer Reports Forum. They are an unbiased third party that has tons of articles written by industry professionals. Their forums are wonderful for learning more about diamond jewelry and asking questions. I am pretty active on the forums (my fiance is in the jewelry business) so PM me if you need help with anything.

Some of the more reputable online vendors for diamond jewelry are Whiteflash, Wink Jones, Pearlmans and Good old Gold. These are not the big name stores (Tiffany’s, Bailey, Banks and Biddle, etc) they are like the best kept secret in the diamond buying world! They are regular retailers with a really good selection of diamonds and very experienced staff.

Of course, if you wanted I could link you up with my fiance for any other help you’d need.

Make sure you do your homework before taking the plunge!

Re: buying Diamond jewellery online

i have used blue nile: Diamonds, Engagement Rings and Fine Jewelry at Blue Nile, very good reputation as the largest online retailer of certified diamonds and they sell only conflict-free diamonds. excellent service and pricing, i did my homework by asking and looking around local jewelers first, know your C’s before purchasing it. I settled on blue nile because i think they offer the best value for money, the fancy jewelery stores seemed to be charging a lot more for the same quality, I guess thats part of their commission and overheads.
