are you going to consider future before investing on a fine watch?
I have three.
1) Tag Heuer Aquaracer (everyday watch goes with jeans & shorts)
2) Montblanc Star (a pure dress watch, goes well with suits & shalwar kameez alike)
3) Patek Calatrava (dress watch - given by dad at 21st birthday)
last two are generational watches, I am also going to pass it on to my son at 18 or 21 birthday.

Michael Kors without a doubt! They go for 200-250
MK is a kind a anaesthesia for watch lovers stay away from it.
Coach has some really nice watches in this price range. Their Spring collection is mostly round dials compared to their last year's fall collection which had more rectangular dials.
Large dials are in right now & rose gold color seems to be making a comeback as well.
