Re: Buying a saree in London
Ealing Road or Green Street. Buying a sari from Southall is a big NO NO.
Green Street is your best bet. Ealing Road if you have £££'s to spend.
Re: Buying a saree in London
Can u buy a nice saree for about 100 pounds?? Or a formal suit??
Re: Buying a saree in London
In Green Street you can. You have to be prepared to bargin though. They will quote you £300 odd quit, but will bargin down.
I was in Green Street last week and I did not see any decent formal suits. Didnt check out any saris though either, but have bought a couple from there in the past.
Re: Buying a saree in London
Yep Green Street would be the best option. I don't think you willd find any nice saris in Southall but it's worth a look!
Re: Buying a saree in London
southall dont do many n if they do there not gud quality............go to green street there really nice n u will find them ut a reasonable price
Hiya
There are very very nice sarees in Mongas in Southall, they are about 120-165 but you can bargain and get them reduced. Most of them are lovely and if i was to ever buy a saree i would get from there. The quality of kaam is lovely as it's Indian (not pakistani or bengali) so very pretty and good quality.

Thanks!!

"quality of the kaam is lovely as it's Indian" - first time I have ever heard that!!
Mongos outfits are just average looking imo.
