Buying a new cell phone

Hey guys, im looking for a new cell phone…right now I have a sony ericsson T616…its a good phone but I’ve had it for about 2 and a half years and its about time I get a new one…and im looking to order it from the internet, cuz here in Calgary, Canada you can only get some crappy phones.

Im looking for something between $300-400. I was looking at the Sony Ericsson k750i and I think its the best phone in this price range…but since ive only read about it on the internet, im not too sure…if anyone owns it or can suggest a another new phone in that price range it will be awesome. Also…can anyone suggest any reliable website where I can buy cell phones which are unlocked?

Thanks

Re: Buying a new cell phone

If you can extend your budget for few more dollars then W800i is not bad at all Have u ever thought about Nokia or other good brands?

Re: Buying a new cell phone

Motorola A1000 is a good phone as well

Re: Buying a new cell phone

thanks guys…the w800 from what i’ve heard is almost the same as k750 with the only difference being that the w800 can go into “flight mode” while travelling. But im not gonna be travelling anytime soon, so I think k750 shud be good enuff…and whoever owns that phone loves it…seems like im gonna order it pretty soon. I want the Nokia N91…but its way to expensive rite now :bummer:

Re: Buying a new cell phone

Re: Buying a new cell phone

If you want a well-converged smart-phone Cingular just came out with the 8125. Absolute delight. I currently have the ipaq 6315 and was waiting for the new 6940 due out this summer. But had the pleasure of playing with the 8125 and I’m thinking of getting this instead. The only thing that’s missing is the GPS, but as i already have an external bluetooth GPS device that feature won’t matter.
