Buying a Dholki

Hello all!
Does anyone know where I can buy dholki’s online? Also I saw in a pic of a friend of a friend, her MIL had brought her gajras which were fake but they looked like they were real!! anyone know where to get something like that online?

most of the people who arrange the stages at ur wedding and the flowers etc have dholki's that u can rent. If your looking to buy one maybe track down a desi store and ask the owner if they can order u a dholki.. mostly they can because they get large shipments from India Pak. For gajre I'd contact the same person doing ur stage decor.. maybe show her what u want and get them made.. if ur in the toronto area look up Laila & Sohail Ahmed.. they have the dholki's for rent and the gajre are around 2-3 dollars depending on what flowers u get put in..

Buying a Dholki

Hi,

I remember going to a mendi a few years back and the brides family were struggling to get hold of a dholki last min and no one has one to lend... What do u usually do, in pk its easy u can buy one or borrow one but abroad it can be diff.

And ideally u want one for all the days leading up to the wedding. Have ppl bought one to hand from abroad or pk?

Hey, Just to let you know a company called normans sell dholaks..just type in normans in google..its a musical instrumental site and type in dholak and its around £30-£40 i think...Otherwise try some asian shops
