Hey cooking experts … i have button mushrooms sitting in my fridge which i would like to cook in 1/2 days … can you please post your recipes .. i have used them in the past in mixed vege salan, pastas/spaghetti, made mushroom masala etc. Want to cook something else this time. Thanks.

mushroom panini's? slice mushrooms + red onions and marinate them with some salt/black pepper/basalmic vingear and saute them in some olive oil
mix some mayo/mustard and spread onto some bread, add mushroom mixture and mozerella and if you have a panini press you can use that or just use a grill pan and put something heavy on the sandwhiches to press them.

add mushrooms to your omelette to make them more yummy. We usually add mushrooms, capsicum, cubed tomatoes (without seeds), cubed potatoes (cooked in little oil till crispy) and mozarella cheese.
Makes for a hearty healthy breakfast.

A dish we make (don’t have the recipe on me right now) is called mushroom peas masala. Here’s a pic - it’s yummylicious!

automne - i've added mushrooms to omelletts a couple of times but urs sure sounds yummy. Will try that for breakfast soon, right now i was looking for lunch/dinner ideas.

am not too fond of mushrooms but its one of the veges hubby likes/eats so i try to make it every now and then!
