so i applied almost 3 weeks ago and i am still waiting…i was told that that my application would have to go through security clearance (since i have a pakistani passport)…anybody ever been in this situation know how long it took for them to get the visa?? i was not expecting this from brazil. it did not take me this long to get visa for germany..

Are you applying in Islamabad? If yes, they send all docs to Brazil for approval even if no security clearance is required. Heard it takes approx 4-6 weeks.
i applied from amreka...hmm so i guess another few more weeks to go...
