That’s because our Mr. Railway Minister has run down PR to a point where people prefer busses over trains even for longer journeys. He has made statements like “Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia do not have Railways, why Pakistan should have it?”. And guess who’s family has significant financial interests in Pakistan’s bus transportation industry.
