Open a chain of up2date, modernized movie theatres. They can have whatever theme you want in construction - like mughal themes, sci-fi themes, village haveli theme, whatever.
I think pple would pay 50-100 or even up to 500-1000 ruppees to see a movie in such a cool theatre. People there are entertainment-starved anyway. Theatres can play American Movies
Indian movies if the gov’t ever allows it.
And best of all - gives a great platform and encouragement for pple to make good Pakistani movies…

PCG, I have looked into it. It is not cost effective, and not too many will be willing to pay 500 to 1000 to see a movie when they can watch live theater for less. A mall is a lot more profitable than a theater.

Live theatre? Really you think so? When American movies are put up in the theatres that do run in Karachi, my cousins tell me that they're usually packed. Okay, maybe not 1000, but maybe 500? If you couple the theatre with a resteraunt like Barbeque Tonite or something.
