I was wondering, as a supplement income type of thing, what would be the best thing to import from pakistan. Remember, I am not trying to do proper business, but just something on the side that might have a good market here in the usa. I couldnt really think of much. I might be thinking small but here are some ideas I have for importing on a small scale:
sports goods from sialkot
after market, hand made auto parts.
Anyone have any ideas or any wise advice about this type of thing. As far as shipping through sea, and warehouse storage…I have that covered. Only thing is what possible type of product can I invest in. Just wondering. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Re: Business Oppurtunities in Pakistan (questions)
Bring some artifacts of handmade stuff. such as wood works, sang-e-mer mer design pieces, etc.
You can also try bringing electronics (high end cell phones)....
You shouldn't be bringing in that big of a shipment that you have to worry about storage for starter. Also you need really reliable people, that can be helt accountable (most relative get disqualified at that) and have good ethics to send you good product.
Re: Business Oppurtunities in Pakistan (questions)
get urself some "women shawls" I asked my cousin to send me 500-700 shawls and they cost 30,000 rupees or so and believe me , my mom is selling each of them for $25 here in canada. So I think shawls is one of the thing that u might want to import from Pakistan...
Re: Business Oppurtunities in Pakistan (questions)
A lot of leathers now coming from china so cant get a decent price for leather imports from Pak like before on a wholesale level. Retail is still profitbale. Rugs, Marble, Granite is a luxury and hence hard to sell but very profitable especially on a wholesale level. But in UK so many people are already involved in importing tiles and stuff. Tiles from Pakistan can be some of the best so can get a very good price from developers if you can supply with strignent quality control on time. Some people making good money importing bed clothes, quills from Pakistan.
