Blair will finally step down on 27 June as PM of UK.
A below average PM who took UK into an illegal war in Iraq and kept silent while Israel massacred Lebanese people last year.
On domestic front the tax burden is the highest the NHS is in a mess, the education policy in tatters.
Good riddance. Maybe we can now get a PM who puts UK first and not be a poodle to Bush and US.

Illegal war? Ill-conceived or ill- advised maybe, but how many wars throughout history have been 'legal'? What the heck is a legal war? One sanctioned by the corrupt and inept UN?
But if the current European trend continues, we'll end up with an even more pro-American leader.

^ You don't know what is a legal war? I suggest you ask the British attorney general (who is a friend of Blair), who gave legal advice to the PM that it was LEGAL to go to war in Iraq. Everyone here refers to the Iraq war as illegal. Try reading world press once in a while to get away from the American perspective.

I acknowledge the war was ill conceived, ill planned and ill advised. It’s just bizarre to refer to wars as legal or illegal. What about historical wars that were fought to spread religion. Were they legal? Did they have attorney generals at the time to declare it so?

poodle is what a pakistani guy called him around the start of the war in iraq on a tv debate. the guy was a member of the audience questioning mr blair. from the reply blair gave, musharraf later used same reply when questioned by a kid in karachi(the clip of which was on GS video gallery a few months back)
i think its a tradegy that prime minister blair didnt resign over the iraq issue.

everyone here meant UK, can’t even get your facts right.
As for your other arguments I suggest you read some decent press like the British press and you would realise that the Attorney general gave advice to the PM about the legality of the war before the Iraqi invasion and the whole issue was a big thing here (Here as in UK, not GS, thought I might as well make that clear for some people). I know in some gung ho country it is not an issue but in UK it was.

apparently he had to go all the way upto sedgefield (his own constituency) to make his speech in public just to avoid the heckling. i wasnt aware he was being heckled in every public speech.

^ Even there once he came out of the hall where he was clapped by the hand picked audience, there were anti war protesters hooting the horn and spoiling his stage managed goodbye.
