No! certainly not a woman can wear anything she wants to she can dress up which ever way she likes to - bright colors are not a problem unless they suit her...obviously you wont go for a bright pink lipstick if it doesnt suit you .. just like that these purple and silver or the other dress she is wearing doesnt suit her - she doesnt wear plain boring cotton shalwar kameez with no makeup on screen my dear but makeup only looks good if it enhances your beauty not make you look clownish.. even if it was ashwariya rai and something on her place and this dressing wouldnt have suited her i would have said so ... i dont discriminate people on their sexuality or age mind that... but ofcourse its her daughters wedding and yes she might not get married again but that doesnt mean the mother does all kinds of solah singaar because of that reason ;S
all i am saying that she could have looked sober yet very dressed up if should would have only made the right choices in color be it brights and fashionable clothes otherwise i am not related to her so it wont effect my health because how she looks...
I'm not offended, its just I think u guys need to cut her some slack, she's the mother of the bride, is she supposed to dress up in a boring plain beige cotton shalwar kameez ? With age, a woman's not allowed to dress up a certain way anymore?
actually this is wat happens in most marriages.gals amma wear some pheeka, borha sober color with huge dupatta on her head n grooms mom comes fully loaded.
kia baat kerti ho teelobhain u see this kind of boys(like the groom)in ur college everyday.where were they when i was in college?
agreed!!
man, if my mom shows up at my wedding in boring beige or a simple plain black sari or the equivalent, i’m gonna be pissed off. shes the mother of the bride, and she better be dressed up and looking good! people will be looking at her for sure and she’ll be in 80% of the pictures same for his mom. i mean, like you said, everyone knows who the bride is and unless the mom is wearing the exact same jora as the bride, she has every right to dress up as much as she wants, IMHO.
They make a cute couple and both look very happy. I agree with FF and Mehnaz about the baraat jora, it has all the mehndi theme. Valima outfit however is very unique and pretty.

My mom is very simple when it comes to clothes and hair. She's never worn any makeup except for lipstick and blush,..she dresses up with jewelery :D
^ i dont get it if someone doesnt like them then whats your problem why are people here getting constipated? why dont you imply on what you people just said - move on and dont bother about someone else's comments every one has the right to express their opinions and they are entitled to it so no need to jump on them hypocrites!
agreed!!

You people are dragging this issue for no reason even after you havent got the point i stated - she is looking cheap and that is it! i dont mind a 100 year old bhudi wearing makeup and bright clothes only if they suit her - weird cheap silk ka jora which has orange and green or silver and purple jora doesnt suit this woman she could have gone for much better color combinations which could be bright yet decent - i dont understand why you girls only find people decent when they wear boring clothes and no makeup - its just so weird people just jump on commenting even when they dont understand the other persons perspective

Well isnt dressing up boring a persons own choice no one forces them to do so - brides mom's aren't told not to dress up ;S
yea well there are so many good looking guys in my collage that i cant keep on eye away hehehe ;) i really wish i could click their pictures and keep them in my collection or something but alas cant do that :(
Sorry guys if someone found my replies harsh up there i am just pissed of at some aunty and want to slap her hard but since i cant do that i might have lost it to some extend in my replies - but at the end of the day we have our own choices and opinions so i rest my case here.
