Bush won the election

What does it mean for Pakistan now? How are Pakistanis there intrepreting it? Are they relieved that pro-India, pro-Isreal Kerry and sorta anti-Pakistan Kerry is not President of US? How is the reaction in media other than Prime TV, Ary, Geo? Reaction from govt and reaction from ordinary people on the street?

Indifferent !

Govt is pro bush. People are anti-america, but many want US visa. Qazi comdemn america but his son study there. So basically we are hipocrate.

A lot is going to happen in next 4 years, world will not be a safer place in near future. :k:

well, now that the inevitable evil has happened all we can do is try to think and make the best of the way things are...
Mush had a detailed phone conversation with the chimp yesterday, and that makes our Mush one of the very first world leaders to talk to the relected US president just 2 days after his reelection. and the imp thing is that Mush didnt just wag the tail and congratulate him with a grin, he talked business. in light of Yasser Arafat's health he talked about the Palaestinian issues, the Kashmir issue and also Iraq and Afghanistan.
i think now that uncle sam is a bit merciful towards us these days, why not take full advanatge of it while we can. we all now they will dump us one day or another, be it bush or had it been kerry, so i guess we should peddle up our efforts to extract as much grants, help, hatever we can from them. the foregin minister said the same thing the very day Bush was reelected. we have quite positive chances of getting the F16s now! the worst i hope has happened against muslims, Kerry couldnt have reversed it, and he couldnt have put a rapid end to it either...lets just makes sure we make them pay us for our patience and help...
