^ This is the first and only thing that I know of that Bush has taken responsiblity for. That goes to show what 5 years of lying and ineffective governance will do for you. It took poll #'s in the 30’s for him to come clean, and like everything else this teflon president does, it is only when there are no other options. He usually gives promotions to those who screw up, so the fact that Brownie was pushed out is another indication that the teflon is wearing off and siht is finally sticking. The American people are fed up with the most dangerous, ineffective and damaging president in recent history.

Socialist agenda?? lol This is the most fiscally irresponsible president in history!! Give me a liberal any day -- I'll take limited government growth and budget surplases any day over the record deficit spending and fiscal irresponsiblity of this 'conservative'. Sorry, but conservatives don't own that issue any more either. There are basically no issues to fall back on for American conservatives other than appealing to the exclusionary ruling class.

surprising that 39% ppl still see him favourably after this massive mismanagement. I mean its not just about Katrina, all the yip yap about homeland security, patriot act, airport screenings, this and that...and then when something happens...for which there was advance notice, FEMA/Homeland security could nto do jack. I mean what will they be able to do in the oft talked about large scale terrorist attack? scary innit?
Ineffective comes to mind. whether or not state or local ppl did their job or not is not even the point, regardless... fed govt, FEMA/DHS did not do their job.
and f brownie was foing such a heck of a job a few days ago why is he gone now. its cuz el presidente was either oblivious to the obvious or he was playing his usual games of sheltering his toadies like a mama chicken saving her chicks. he tried to save kenneth lay, karl rove and now brownie..but i guess it got too hot for him to even save Brownie..

Any politician will try to protect his or her campaign contributor. This has been going on for ages. Do you think Ken Lay may have some other connections besides Bush? After all he has been “rich” and “connected” for a while.
How about some comments on how all of these buses were left to drown…that could have been used to save the people? More Proofof incompetent local govt. Lets start with these and I will provide you more regarding Balnco and then we will move up the chain to Bush.
