Bush has succeeded where Saddam failed

**‘We Are One Hand’ – Sunnis, Shiites Uniting Against U.S. in Iraq
**

“The U.S. attack on the Iraqi city of Fallujah has awakened a newly militant nationalism among Shiites now eager to fight occupation forces, based on Muslim religious identity and feelings of Arab nationalism”

“They were counting on a Sunni-Shiite split in Iraq, but we are one hand,” Subhi says. “We will be victorious, God willing.”

Bring it on!

Cart them off home.

“And don’t exaggerate Shiite-Sunni differences, but remember that they are both Arabs. There is no religion called Shiism and no religion called Sunnism. They are both Muslims.”

:k:

The American’s have done for Muslim unity in Iraq, than others before them, for which they must be applauded. :k:

Bring it on!

America has done this to many other states, states which were bitter enemies...

Your last ditch efforts to support your 'unique' opinions never fail to amuse me.

It’s a socialist newspaper, just go ahead and read it.

Well they have united the Shia and Sunni's, and inshallah they will unite the Arabs and Kurds as well. :)

Good, now that they are all lovey-dovey, maybe they will stop killing each other and the US can go home.

Only the American's are claiming that. The Shia's of Iraq always blame the American's not the Sunni's when they murderous atrocties are committed against them. Now wonder the American's go around closing down Shia-owned newspapers that dare print the truth.

Yeah, right. They've been killing each other for centuries, it's America's fault. Severe Blame Displacement Syndrome.

Yes, that's exactly what the rest of the world say about a lot of American's.

The idea of Shia and Sunni's uniting really upsets the American's, who would rather instigate conflict between the two to use as an excuse to remain Iraq. No wonder the Shia's are actually blaming the American's for the atrocities committed against them, not others.

The shia's today are chanting anti-Occupation songs louder than ever, the mercenaries bombs failed to do their job.

Indeed. Maybe that is why the yanks are now bringing nack Saddam's Baathist butchers, to keep the Shias in check?
