Bush falls off his bike (again)

Why take the training wheels off when he’s overseas?

Bush also fell off his bike back in May of 2004, wtf?

GLENEAGLES, Scotland (AP) - President Bush collided with a local police officer and fell during a bike ride on the grounds of the Gleneagles golf resort while attending a meeting of world leaders Wednesday.

Bush suffered scrapes on his hands and arms that required bandages by the White House physician, said White House spokesman Scott McClellan.

The police officer was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, McClellan said. The extent of the officer’s injuries was not known, but he might have an ankle injury, the spokesman said.

It was raining lightly at the time.

The officer was on a security detail. He is a member of the police department of Strathclyde, a nearby town, McClellan said.

The president was concerned about the officer’s condition, and talked with him for some time after the collision, McClellan said. The president also asked White House physician Richard Tubb to monitor the officer’s condition at the hospital.

The fall did not affect the president’s schedule. Dressed in a tuxedo, he attended a dinner hosted by Queen Elizabeth at the annual Group of Eight economic summit. He showed no signs of distress.

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

do they deliver milk on bikes in scotland too?

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

He got startled when he saw the bonny old copper of scotland yard, and thusly stumbled off his tricycle.

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

He thought the British policeman was a terrorist, and in act act of incredible bravery tried to risk his own life in running down this clear and present danger.

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

Did someone feed him pretzel when he jumped to ride that bike?

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

British policemans name was "Galloway" hmmmm...

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

Tripping from a bike isn't half as bad as running around in short shorts with pasty white thighs flapping back&forth like Clinton's.

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

Americans winning the Tour de France is too much for Chirac. Frog President sticks broomstick in spokes, starts yelling, "Freedom Fries my butt!".

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

I’m not familiar with Clinton’s pasty white thighs and I don’t know why you are either. But bad fashion can be fixed, being an uncoordinated ass in your 50’s is somethign you are stuck with.

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

Since you weren’t old enough to watch news shows back then, during Clinton’s presidency he was regularly derided by news commentators and comedians on his love for hamburgers, women and (last but not least) running around in his chaddi.

In his book or an interview George Stephanopoulous is quoted as saying that the White House staffers gifted Clinton a pair of running pants.

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

Good thing he fell on his head otherwise he might've hurt himself...

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

Here in Holland, we don't take leaders serious who can not ride properly on a bycicle.

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

Now I know why GWB is against Kyoto treaty, he can’t ride properly so he has to use a car…what a pity!! at least some americans are saving US honor in France…which is not a little task as many french are as anti-american as Ohioguy is anti-french…khair!

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

Bush on a Bike(BoB a Booey), this brainiac ( Yale graduate) propbably needs driving lessons for a golf cart, let alone a bike. I hope he was not trying to emulate Kainchi bike riding.

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

He's such a cock. Honestly, you just know the US is run by his bully friends - Rummie, DICK Cheney, etc. Bush is just there to be the yokel frontman that is appealing to many Americans - those who see the world in black & white terms and that oh so typical view of being born to "lead the world".

Re: Bush falls off his bike (again)

Is the bike alright ?
