Bush Bounced: Majority now oppose his re-election

Read into how you like…

President George W. Bush’s approval ratings continue to decline. His current approval rating of 53 percent is down 18 percent from April. And for the first time since the question was initially asked last fall, more registered voters say they would not like to see him re-elected to another term as president (49 percent) than re-elected. Forty-four percent would favor giving Bush a second term; in April, 52 percent backed Bush for a second term and 38 percent did not.

I hope this trend continues and we get a good president - someone with the wisdom and balance of ABV

THis means didly.... This will not change American foreign policy although a change in economic policy might happen. Which are both good things.

Plus as time nears election, the full court press will see the numbers rise anew.

This means nothing... as I recall, the majority of Americans didn't vote for him last time either, but he still ended up as President :D

If Dubya gets reelected, that would suck! Hes turned everyone except little tony blair into america's enemy.

Except Tony & Pervez.

The worst thing he has done is what appears to be the contempt for the UN.

The funny things is, are there other republican options? Frisk seems to be actually becoming less and less known!

How do you guys think about Carol Mosley Braun on the Dem side?

we need democrats.

saddam and OBL caught right around election time to carry him into another term,

If they are not caught, something elsewill be needed to boost the popularity..bashar asad, khatami and co should start worrying :D

heck I would support Bush just to make sure Cheney stays in the office, I have shares in Halliburton

as long as you vote on Diebold machines.. it don’t matter which buttons you punch in.. Dubya and his cabal will end up in office.

Just remember.. Summer 2004 are the Afghan elections. When the warlords start slaughtering people and the allies are shown to be useless, W won't have much left on the foreign policy/nat security argument.. and we already've seen his economic prowess collapse. Doesn't leave much of a platform.. good thing for him American politics are run by idiots.

Katherine and the Florida elections. I presume what this link highlights is true.
Whither DEMOCRACY?
