Bush administration opposes Pakistan linked-aid bill

Re: Bush administration opposes Pakistan linked-aid bill

What you said is true, I agree 100%, but these mollah phoebic, MQM loving wizards will continue to babble what their leader says, so no point in reasoning with them.

Altaf Bhaiya a visionary LOL!

Re: Bush administration opposes Pakistan linked-aid bill

more proof that we need republicans in power. idiotic democrats

Re: Bush administration opposes Pakistan linked-aid bill

Kill them how? They blend in with the locals, and Pakistan simply doesnt have the capcity to eliminate them without causing civilian casualties.. And if there are civilian casualties, people will blame the govt for attacking it own people!
These are rebel guerillas… And to add to this, Talibanism isnt a miltary movement, its become a state of mind, a way of thinking… It has already become a Cancer. I doubt these current Taliban have anything to do with the earlier one, these groups just sprouted up claiming to be Taliban and simply adopted the more draconian aspects of Taliban rule in Afghanistan…
I have no love for the Taliban, but outright war is going to spill out over all of Pakistan and risk alienating the Pasthun areas even more.
And Altaf Hussein may be visionary, but how much vision do you need to see the obvious, that an all out war in Waziristan isnt what we want and that to truly get rid of the problems there you have to use a carrot and stick method.

Re: Bush administration opposes Pakistan linked-aid bill

Emboldening the jihadis by handing them a victory, even a a small one, will just bring the end state of the cancer that much quicker. We all have eyes, ears and minds to see what has happened and what is happening in the world. Some of us will ignore it and all of us will pay the price. Some continue to think that this war is being fought for America, and that it won't matter to Pakistan who wins or loses. This is delusional thinking, we will have a future of Iraq or Afghanistan if the extremist forces are not crushed.

I really have no more to add to this subject.

Re: Bush administration opposes Pakistan linked-aid bill

Kheh, if only for a little while you think out of the box, I know everyones influenced by what their leader says (I am too), but lets just leave aside Altaf's thoughts on the matter and consider this.

I am no supporter of extremism or mollahism, and you know that. BUT I do believe its in the best interests of Pakistan to try and consider its own people's interests and safety rather than blindly accepting whatever someone outside states. Maybe these attacks that recently took place in Waziristan were aimed at terrorists, but the fact is, civilians died as a result. This makes alot of people unhappy and this will only cause more and more people to take revenge, I know you belong to a different region in Pakistan but people in Waziristan value their honor and dignity more than anything, its instinctive to them, and they will seek revenge against whoever played a part in the death of their brothers.
