Burqa becomes focus of tense debate in Europe

Then how would you justify and describe*** “Article 1” of the “PREAMBLE”*** section of the constitution of France as follows -----

“France shall be an indivisible, secular, democratic and social Republic. It shall ensure the equality of all citizens before the law, without distinction of origin, race or religion. It shall respect all beliefs. It shall be organised on a decentralised basis.”

I would not paper over the cracks ----- yet try to look at the underlying problem instead ----- I believe that there must be a reasonable number of Muslim women who would want to wear Burqa without any pressure from male members of their families ----- so be fathers, brothers or husbands ----- different strokes for different folks ----- if you will ----- don’t you think their civil rights would be violated by this ban ----- just as if France was to ban wearing Bindis for Hindu women ----- Turbans for sikh men and cross necklaces for Christians ----- shouldn’ we have equal ----- or even stevens laws?. ----- So to speak!.
