You can wear anything you like as long as it is loose and covers your hair and body properly (during Umrah). Niqab is not necessary. If you’re going to travel within Jeddah I’d recommend wearing an abaya though. The Saudis don’t seem to like it when people don’t wear an abaya.

But face should be covered too, except the eyes, right?
