supergirl.. dont know whether ur the same guppy that opened a thread about Burooj a few days back .. but I know about Burooj in Manchester - their Longsight and Wilmslow Road branch... I had to buy some "emergency" clothes as I had 2 walimas and 2 shaadis to attend and therefore bought 4 suits from these guys. They are deffo functional and reasonably priced and their style is simple but pretty- they certainly looked great when adorned with accessories. Their Bridal is their new range which I cant comment on but I do know that I wud deffo shop there again! Hope this helps!

You need to pay a visit to their boutiques, there's one on Wilmslow Road and another on Beresford Road in Longsight. I brought a few dholki outfits from them this year - they were reasonably priced and I got great value for my money. If you're looking for something unique (and you're fed up of Indian designs and fashion), then I would definitely give them a visit.
I went to Burooj like a week ago, to be honest their clothes were a lot better when they started off and they've just gone down hill, which is a shame since we didn't have many decent Asian shops to start off with. I only looked at the ready made clothes (the Chineyere line is supposedly the best thing about them) not the bridal or anything but they do have a room full of bridals upstairs (I peaked :) ). Je Roche have some really pretty stuff but that's if you're prepared to shuffle through a lot of overpriced crap. Burooj's website has been in the pipeline for as long as I can remember so don't be misled by the 'coming soon' sign. Then again the clothes from Burooj and Je Roche are much better than lots of other shop (Anands... cringe) so I'd suggest having a look! Good luck! :)
Ooh I just read the fan of Sana Safinaz part, me tooooo! Yeah, I doubt you'll find anything of the sort here, have you considered ordering from Sana Safinaz online? That's really all I can think of, I have yet to find similar clothes in Manchester "/
