Ok I know this is going to sound really stupid, but I burnt my eyelid. I suffer from itchy eyes and I’ve been told warm compresses help. I took a warm tea bag to use as a warm compress and placed it on my eyes, let’s just say it wasn’t warm but piping hot and it burnt a tiny area on my upper eyelid. I thought it would go away on its own but its been a few days now and its a red scar and I’m really worried because I’ve just disfigured myself 3 months before my wedding! What should I put on it?

until then keep it clean and well moisturized. do u have any of those antibacterial creme's that help scars heal faster, try those if there is a scar. but if its just red, it will go away in 3 months.

ouch - don't do too much it is just red, you can actually scar it pretty bad if you keep trying diff things on it. Like deer said, keep it clean/moiturized, and may be ask your doc if you can put polysporin kind of oitment on that area to keep it infection free and help it heal faster.

Itchy eyes, it is on the eyelid or in the eye, if it is in the eye they are more than likely just dry, yo can ask you doctor and use a OTC eye lubricant esp first thing in the morning as soon as you open your eyes (i keep mine on the bedside table). If they are dry on the eye lid, keep it moiturized, and again HANDS-OFF your eyes..

Dont touch your eyes
I dont know where you are and if this is available to you but a tiny dab of Neosporin helps a lot when it comes to scarring after a burn or cut

i think you should try castor oil! it might help :)
Try neosporin; it treats burnt skin. But make sure you read the instructions, etc. before using it…I hope it gets better
Dont itch your eyes. I have really bad eye allergies only in the summer time since I was a lil girl. I tired 1000 of eyedrops. I know its hard but don’t itch the eyes n If it is itching, try putting ice wrapped around sumthin on the eyes n also if they r allergies, take Claritin or zertec.

hydrocortisone cream 1% will take care of it IA.
Apply any antibiotic cream to it.. and avoid any other gels for now. Stay out of the sun :)
