thats just bad ahmed....we would fierce up if the flag of pak. was burned......and if they really wanted to commit such an act,,,,why not draw the correct number of stars .?.......oh well.....

mr. ahmad it was not funny...coz a lot of people live in the states here in gupshup (if i'm not mistaken) and how would u feel if someone posted a picture with pakistan's flag burning like that...i mean i have to problems with posting a pic like that about paki flag...believe i would do it under any circumstances and i would not mind if anyone gave me a lecture about it...coz there is no point to it and no one can harm me even if if i posted something like that...thats all i gotta say to u and everyone else who likes this pic...

I think ist wrong to burn any country’s flag. We may hate certain government’s and their policies but burning a country’s flag show hatred of all that country’s people. Thats wrong…

First off, burning a flag is a form of protest; though it may be more emotinally motivated then a reasonable strike or boycott, I would say that it is effective in the sense that it brings unity in the least. I mean look at human torches where people set themselves on fire in protest, now that is probably the most ultimate form sacrifice for showing one's disdain and it accomplishes only to unify people to a main cause, nothing more!!!
I live in America and have for most of my life but I have no zealous patriotism for this USA or the red white and blue. Really, what does this flag do for me...nothing mush really, its just where I can go to school and live a decent life without having to face the ridiculous backwards problems and ideas which still exist in Pakistan such as fuedalism, dowry, castes system...
Bbut being born in Pakistan, I love the land and the people and that is how I will die, a Pakistani! Those are my people and my culture redardless of where I reside so the Pakistani flag is the only one I would respect and fight for. Because ultimately that is a great part of who I am and represent eventhough I am also a (smaller)part of America now!
The only thing the star spangled banner does for me is bring my privlidged life of posperity I have here, but it doesn't invoke an automatic love of the people or its causes worldwide...I guess thats part of the beauty of America, you don't have to love it to live here...

i personly love my own flag wich is the most beutiful flag in the world,and i know what i will feel if some burn it in somekind of protest.I think all nation on this world mean the same about theyrs flag.So i dont this pic is anything to bee proud of.(for the information i am pakistani)
