You can't get into the Burj just for a tea as they don't encourage casual tourists. You can however buy a Dhm 100 ticket at security which will entitle you to entry. The ticket can also be used to to buy drinks or other items in the shops upto the value of the voucher. Obviously if you buy something very expensive, you will get dhms 100 refund by presenting the coupon.

So I have to pay AED 100 just to get in? I have no plans about buying anything, I just wanted to drink that cup of tea, take some pictures and then leave :D

Yeah but you get the tea for free when you present the voucher.
