PCG and Mehnaz, actually the whole thing is that Musharraf in general is for “liberalising” Pakistani society in all ways. like less purdah, more interaction/openness, u can see it on PTV for example. this is leading to a society which is basically more open to such influences.
thats basically the bottomline.
living in karachi i know myself what’s going on here, it never used to go on before. the stuff that’s happenning in Zamzama for example at night, that never used to happen before in the history of the city, everyone knows abt it too.
the kinda clubs that r open for the youth now.
things like that.
