Allah has mentioned in the Quran that HE doesnt burden any soul beyond that it can bear. My question is if thats the case then why majority of humans just can’t bear it? Why we most of the times fail to take the pain & just give in?
Re: Burden
Peace @tissues,
Please give one example where a person failed to take the pain & just give up. ![]()
Re: Burden
Like when we see people in severe depression, they just give up, some go insane & some attempt suicide too. What do you think that is then? That clearly means they were going through hardships & difficulties in their life & after a while they just couldn’t take it any more. Allah is not overburdening us then how come most of the muslims these days are getting depressed & attempting suicides?
Re: Burden
Do you guys think Allah is putting us in situations, trails & tests which are beyond what we can take but Allah said otherwise in the Quran then how come we can’t take it? : (
Re: Burden
Peace @tissues,
Thank you for explaining ![]()
Well its depends how a person lives his/her life or wish to live.
If a person feels happiness by having some luxuries of this world and assumed him/herself as blessed, his/her struggles for remaining life will be for achievement of more and more luxurious of this world. He/she will be like a competitor either directly or indirectly, knowingly of inadvertently with others, competing in achieving temporary luxurious of this temporary world.
If things not gone as planned/wished, severe depression may cause to take negative steps resulting in disbelieve, suicide or something similar to that act.
“Buy more and be happy” shouldn’t be slogan rather it should be “No Thanks, i’m good, i’m happy for what I have”, to make life earlier for ourselves.
