Re: Bunto Kazmi's Designs
I emailed bunto and fizza and inquired about one outfit I liked. i asked them to make it in a formal wear style and asked for a quote. In response i was told dey need 10 monthsssss advance notice regardless of it being a formal or bridal :o.....is dat true
Re: Bunto Kazmi's Designs
I think it depends on their workload (which seems to always be busy) and if they know you. From this forum I've heard at least 8 months notice, but last year my cousin got her nikkah, wedding, and valima outfits made in only 4 months. My Khala has been going to Bunto for outfits for years and knows her, so maybe that helped with the quick turnaround.

Re: Bunto Kazmi’s Designs
Everyones clothes look beautiful!
Here is my question guys: So i have two Bunto Kazmi joras that were handed down to me, so they are oldish. and i dont fit into any of the shirts cuz they were not made to my size. Do you think i can call Bunto and have the shirts altered to my size? How much do you think she would charge for that. I dont want them to go waste by just sitting in my almari and rot. (which is exactly what they are currently doing…and have been for the past God-knows-how-many years) The other things is i dont live in karachi, so the earliest i could give them to her would be like 1 month before i need to wear them…
One is a beautiful pishwas and the other is a “dhakka pajama” thats what my calls it, but its just a shirt with a lengha.
Suggestions please!
Re: Bunto Kazmi's Designs
i dont think you need to go directly to bunto, it may be cheaper to go to another tailor. dont let the outfits rot, wear them!
Re: Bunto Kazmi's Designs
I really wanna see pics of her old dresses and see how classic they are, is it possible for ou to share them?
From what I have read on bina khans page that bunto, SS and few other designers redo and change outfits to make them to date free of cost regardless of when they were made. You need to get in touch with her via phone and have a discussion, maybe send the outfits to them by mail so they are redone on time.
