would anyone like to convince me in 60 seconds why i should like bunto? where EXACTLY is the wow factor apart from the price tag? :p
haha its not a requirement to like her work! we won't revoke your GS membership over it :p
i guess i like her for the intricate kaam (although sometimes it can get a bit OTT, i admit), and all of her brides somehow end up looking really glamorous and regal, and i haven't yet seen another design who can do that as well as she does.
Anyone have more pictures of this brides dress? I love the bottom part of the lehnga, but was hoping to see color and entire outfit.
Love her teeka and that jhoomer is to die for.

haha SGC thanks...i do agree bunto brides do always look regal.....reminds me of mughal time...its quite pretty.....my only issue with her is eventually all the brides look similar....if i do go to her id want something a little "hatt key"...haha leave everyone guessing is it a bunto or not :D
^ But i think the whole point of getting a jora from Bunto is to look like a Bunto Bride, so you'd be defeating the purpose of going to Bunto if you wanted something different from her, you know? Its like Chanel has a certain style- and people wear Chanel because they want to dress in that style. You wouldn't wear Chanel and claim its from Versace- you'd wear Chanel because its Chanel. So you'd wear Bunto, because its Bunto and because you do want people to know its Bunto. Plus if her strength is a particular look, which it clearly is, why would you want her to create something different which might not be her strongest point or her nicest outfit? Clearly this look is something she does very well. So you go with her or you go elsewhere. That's IMHO, anyway :) P
thats so true i would love a bunto jora.. n i’ll jus show her the colors i want, the rest is upto her i dont care if it is similar to other brides or not..coz every bunto bride is gorgeous
ahhhh i c…now that does make sense…i think if i did go to her…id definetly want somthing in red…but not too similar to other brides…mayb a colour change here and there…But i have to admit blushes u know sobia nazir’s SIL’s jora was kinda AMAZING… hehe…
Agree with SGC! Bunto Kazmi has a signature style--old-world glamorous farshi's with longer sleeved shirts--reminiscant of the royal courts of Rampur, Lucknow etc. Of course, you will find things that are differnt, but the majority hold true to the classic design---just like Chanel's iconic 2.55 or tweed jackets have pretty much remained true to the originals that came decades ago.
Most Western designers also have a signature look and those design houses invite those with smiliar tastes: Valentino with flowy feminine dresses, Stella MacCarney suits, Etro paisley's:) They have a plethora of dresses to choose from, but the certain look is what they are best at. I honestly dont think there is anyone who can make a farshi better than Bunto in Pakistan:)
