I'm not aware of any other bride having worn that exact same dress - Many guppans have been desperate to see the lower half, including myself.

^ I remember asking her about that sari a couple of years ago and I believe it's close to 4 lakhs! All that heavy detailing on the blouse and the sari is supposed to be swarovki, and actual swarovski doesn't come cheap.

Yep - it's definitely a saree. I guess it would cost in the region of 5-6 laakhs easily if converted to a lehngha.

^^^lol!! I used to search on the net day and night trying to find Bunto jora pixx about 11 years ago and the only ones I found were from Visage. Now there are a plethora or pixxx! Thanks to us her business has expanded so much overseas.
Her work is timeless and exudes elegance. The joras take one back to another time another era.

i wish she was more affordable. her bridals are gorgeous but the prices are sky high.
back in the days she was charging 1.5, now the lightest bridal starts at 3. that's alotttt.

just wanted to tell you i JUST got off the phone with Bunto and she's really normal and nice! i've been scared to talk to her ever since someone told me that she's challenging and stuffy and uptight, but the truth is, she was very nice, asked me to send pictures of my jewelry to coordinate, and said send me color requests and we'll make something lovely. she uses swarovski crystals, a parisian net and is willing to deliver for April 2010.
just thought you guys should know - don't be scared and call her if you're really dying for a Bunto original.
oh, and her daughter is sending along pictures of the long coat style that i want for my valima. (quite helpful!)
