^ I was pushed off the top bunk when I was little by one of my older cousins! Still remember that! Lol! After that my parents gave the bunk away! Lol! :)

my kids want a bunk but am too afraid that the one on top may fall. Specially that my kids some times get up at night and come to our room or their grandparents room to sleep.

I think it depends on the kids...mine are too wild to consider bunk beds. They'd play superman at every opportunity lol

Maybe when they get a little older...for now though we got three twin "captain beds" which have drawers underneath and thats a great thing. We dont need to have dressers for their clothes and its a real space-saver. Their room is big and very long so it looks like a little dorm room lol! If we decide to do bunk beds later on, we just need to buy some parts which converts them into a bunk bed.

I think it is a great idea and an even better space-saver, also it looks neat to have a bit more privacy than having incredi beds side by side!
