Cultures are not global but rather are regional. Instead of ‘Gracing’ another controversial culture, wouldn’t you rather start your own within the limits we have? (And it would be due to so much disappointments of not having an official flirting day in our culture) 
The so-called ‘feeling’ you talk about should be ‘suppressed’ along with the raging ‘hormones’ of direction-less teens of the 90’s.
Otherwise you run the risk of a major cultural collapse.
