Have you ever been bullied? Have you ever done bullying? For those of you with children do you keep yourself aware of someone bullying your children or your children bullying someone?
I think this is a very serious topic with major repercussions for our younger generation which gets completely ignored

My entire school like I was only bullied once, in middle school. I decided I wanted to wear a hijab full time. The first day I wore it everyone had a lot of questions but didn’t bother me. They were understanding and supportive. Some of the older guys told me “If someone messes with you, you let us know. We’ll take care of them!” 
… Well, a few weeks after I started wearing the hijab, 9/11 happened. That day I was in school, everyone was in such a panic no one really said anything to me. And I don’t think at that point anyone had any idea what was going on, right away. But the next day and the rest of the week, I was yelled at in the hall ways by people passing me by, cursed at, I even had people rip my hijab off of my head. People would yell at me and say I was related to Bin Laden and that I was helping hide him. 
As funny as it is now, at that time all I did was cry. I didn’t tell my parents for a long time. I used to leave my house with the hijab on, and hide behind a tree to take my hijab off before the school bus came. Finally, my mom caught me putting my hijab back on when I got off the bus (coming home) 
But… aside from being bullied… I was a bully during late middle school and into high school. I never bullied the “little” kids or the nerds or anything of that sort. Actually, I was the one who bullied the bullies until they left the victims alone. LOL!!

I have been bullied in college a few times buy one guy…but I always paid him back, it was either verbally or physically…but one way or the other he got paid 
Ohhh..I even threw a glass of water in his face 
(that was a lot of fun)
and years later..after we had all left college, he apologized to me by writing me an e-mail (coz he watched Dr. phil and it made him go on a guilt trip)!

Only once in secondary school. Two girls in my class played a really sick prank on a teacher. Principal was called in. No one wanted to speak up and tell who did it. So the principal made us write confidential notes and hand it up to her. The next day, the two girls came up to me out of nowhere and literally screamed “DID YOU TELL ON US?”. I had in fact written down the truth because I thought that’s what we were supposed to do but turns out there weren’t many stupid enough to do that. 
I replied “No I didn’t, now get out of my face”. They kept at it for a while and then turned their attention to the rest of the girls in the class who were all like nnnope, don’t know what yer talking about lol they were so frustrated!

well…he deserved it…he thought it was funny and wanted to look cool in front of his friends
and Bollywood did not cross my mind at all…it was winter in Switzerland and perfect weapon was to throw a glass of cold water…which was the only thing I had in my hand at that time!

I talk to my daughter if she ever gets bullied I hope she can take care of it or come home and tell me.
