I think many people will have experienced bullying at some points in their life. It happens at work, at home and can happen at school.
What makes a bully a bully? Are they unhappy and lonely people? are they obsessed with power?
What is the best way to deal with bullies?
Can anyone be the target of bullies?
Maybe we can discuss experiences of how us or people we know have overcome bullying, anyone with psychological knowledge would be great to here from them too!
I think they are simply obsessed with this fake sense of superiority and power. Resistance is the only answer to such bullies. I have never been bullied so cant really tell from experience, but well I have always been a strong person to be bullied at work or otherwise. I think its in your own hands to be vulnerable or not.
Sometimes kids bully just because they can. It makes others laugh, and that makes them feel better about themselves. It’s sick yes, but school can be a very hostile environment.
I’ve personally never seen physical bullying, only mocking and verbal bullying and it’s usually directed at people with low self esteem and those who will take it without fighting or answering back.
By the way, check out this video. It’s a few months old but this kid put the beat down on a bully.
