Building shrines over graves

Re: Building shrines over graves

-I do not have any evidence to show you except for what i have seen. If you havent been on Hajj/Umrah already then ask somebody who could confirm you about the burial site of Hazrat Ismail (as), his mother Hajra (sa), and according to some riwayats his daughters, and some other Prophets (as) are also buried there. Now if it is haraam to visit or to convert into places of worship the graves of prophets and messengers and the righteous servants of Allah, why do we find the Holy Prophet (pbuh) following such a practice?

-bro, you keep on arguing without checking the facts so i opened up the Quran and checked. If you look at the original Arabic of the verse you will find it contains the word MASJID:

وَكَذَلِكَ أَعْثَرْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ لِيَعْلَمُوا أَنَّ وَعْدَ اللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَأَنَّ السَّاعَةَ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا إِذْ يَتَنَازَعُونَ بَيْنَهُمْ أَمْرَهُمْ فَقَالُوا ابْنُوا عَلَيْهِم بُنْيَانًا رَّبُّهُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِهِمْ قَالَ الَّذِينَ غَلَبُوا عَلَى أَمْرِهِمْ لَنَتَّخِذَنَّ عَلَيْهِم** مَّسْجِدًا **{21}

They built a masjid and had it been a haraam act or one that that Allah SWT is displeased with then there would've been condemnation for it but that is not the case. Masjid Al Kahf is still present in Syria or according to some in Taizz, Yemen. People go there and pray to Allah SWT as its a great symbol of the power of tawheed and the righteous people who stood up for it against the taghoot of the time.

-Allah SWT has ordered us to consider the place where Ibrahim (as) stood, as a place of worship too:

"Appoint for yourselves a place of prayer on the standing-place of Ibrahim."
(Surah Baqarah 2:25)

Muslims pray at the burial site of our Prophet, and there is a building over his grave too. Do you see any harm in that?
