What kind of relationship?

With husband: over the years a certain amount of understanding develops, but you can never take it for granted. If you do, then you can lose momentum.
With kids: you learn as they grow. You evaluate and fix yourself.
With friends: you learn to establish boundaries, for if you don’t, you can get in a mess.
