Bugaboo Strollers - Really Worth the Money??

Hello!
First time mom here - I’m shopping around for a stroller and really really love the look and design on the Bugaboo Bee3. However the Uppababy Cruz 2015 is comparable that comes with a bassinet option as well which I love. I wanted to get an idea from people who own bugaboos or even an uppababy your thoughts? I’m going with these two options because their the most stylish as well light weight and functional strollers. we live in the suburbs.

They have a ton of reviews comparing each model but I want to know from practical people their real thoughts and how their kids feel in these strollers!

Re: Bugaboo Strollers - Really Worth the Money??

Oh maybe a few pros and cons of both..

Basket - I think the Cruz wins on this one.
Weigt- Bugaboo wins as it is 3lbs lighter.
Easy Fold - Both have east folds and both seem a bit bulky to me actually so this might not make a difference.
Looks and Style- Hands down the bugaboo.
Recline - Bugaboo lies flat where as the Cruz has a weird recline where the entire seat reclines and doesn't seem like a position any child would want to sit in.
Bassinet- my favorite feature on any stroller and even though I only get a couple of months use will be definitely getting one. Both strollers look cute with the bassinet attached but the Cruz' looks much more comfy and can be used over night as well which gives it more practical purpose.
Life - Cruz up to 50lbs / Bugaboo Bee3 up to about 37-40lbs.
Price- Uppababy wins by about a $200 difference.
Car seat- My maxi cosi fits on both with an adapter.

Are any of these deal breakers that I should consider? The seat recline seems like a big one to me but need real opinions? Does anyone regret buying their bugaboo?

Lots of babies being had over the last 1.5 years in my family and friends but surprisingly enough no one purchased a bugaboo. One of my friends bought the Cruz and she was talking her baby out daily and was happy with it. It looked pretty good to me too. My cousin had a Stroke for her first but has bought the Mamas and Papas Armadillo Flip for her second which I really like.

I absolutely love the bugaboo bee. In my opinion, it is hands down the best stroller out there. I also have the Uppababy Cruz and even though it's a great stroller, it's heavy! Folding it is easy but it's a bit of a challenge unfolding it. I think the Cruz is really stylish but it's quite bulky. If you want a lightweight uppababy, then G Luxe is really good as a travel stroller. Also, I've always thought the bassinet to be useless if you live in the suburbs and drive everywhere. The best thing from 0-6 months is either a snap n go or an adapter so you don't have to move the baby and can just transfer the car seat.

I looked for for three things in a stroller:
lightweight
easy maneuverability
can face parent

and the bee excels in every way. It's very light and the fold is very easy too.

I always recommend the Bee to all my friends. I tell them to get a snap n go for the first couple of months and then get a Bee for 6 months onwards.

My husband almost had a stroke when I bought a stokke too :p

Haha, the perils of posting from a phone and not checking what Autocorrect has done!

I was convinced that I was going to buy a Bee3 until I tested it some more. I felt it was quite low down and I'm only 5'2". The fold isn't as easy as it first appears and if you fold it with the seat in the parent facing position it's still pretty bulky. If the Armadillo Flip was out when I was buying, I would have bought it.

Can't help you decide between those two, but I bought the City Mini GT and I absolutely love it. It folds with one hand and I can lift it into the trunk even though I'm pretty weak. It's so smooth and easy to stir, I can use just one finger to stir it around. The main reason why we bought it was the tires. We travel a lot so we wanted a stroller that can be ok not only on pavement but also on beaches sand and on rocky hikes etc., and the salesman recommended the city mini GT.
Did you go to a baby store and "test drive" the strollers? It really helps rather than buying it online. I was so indecisive that the salesman even brought over a 15lb sack "baby" and put it in my strollers of choice so I could push them around and make my final decision.
My husband didn't like the bugaboo bc it seemed too low and he is really tall so it didn't seem like it would be comfortable to push around for several hours.
