Buena Park Rejects Temple - (BUENA PARK) – Buena Park has said “no” to a lavish new religious temple. The city council says the proposed Hindu temple just didn’t fit with Buena Park’s western theme. The temple would have been the country’s largest house of worship for Hindus. Buena Park mayor Jack Moller says religion wasn’t part of the decision. He says the Hindu dietary restrictions just didn’t fit with the entertainment venue that would have been attached to the Hindu temple.
