Budha and Jesus (A.S)

What is mentioned here is comparison between two Sacred personalities, if i take the selected quotes from Prophet Mohammad (SAAW) i am sure i’ll be able to combine them with number of prophets.

on 2nd note, Allah Subhan.o.tala have mentioned in Quran that the Prophets have been sent to all corners and nations of earth, not all of them are mentioned in Quran but that does not make their status any less.

It is possibility that the Buddha might be a Prophet of his time to certain nation. Again it is a possibility only as i do not have much to back it up from Quran.

However, Comparing both and try to make them look one person in different role and that is on the basis of their books ( which btw are nulified by Quran) is not healthy exercise, yes we can discuss that what attribute does Buddah Shares with other prophets ( again by his teachings and not by his disputed birth story).

Ohh no no this is not what I am trying to do here at all. However trying to get opinions what do you think about the comparision. Basically what I think that Roles and Resposibilities of Prophets are same. They come to bring mankind closer to their Lord…which is Allah. And in the short comparison what I am trying to suggest that Budha and Jesus AS both seem to had similar mission. However as Hinduism has changed significantly..so as Judaism and Christianity. But this does not suggest that what Budhism is today was taught by Budha centuries ago!
