Buddy/Journal Buddy Lists

Hi

Why can’t Femme see my blog? She’s on my journal list and my buddy list. I have a few people on both lists and I don’t know if they can see my blog or not …

Also, who are the blog moderators who get to read the private blogs?

make sure u edit ur blog options, check the last few options on the link above, and remember to tick “View my blog” for ur “buddy list”.

Now regarding your second question, there might be few blog-moderators around, but I doubt if they are going to disclose their names. They will all be there with some hidden nicks most probably.

There is no such thing called private, no matter what you write it can be read by the admins, so make sure its not that private.

Under privacy settings, I chose the below and people on my buddy list still cannot view it:

Members on my buddy list may...
View my blog
Leave comments on my blog entries

the buddy who is trying to view your blog? is he/she added as ur buddy? did he/she accept ur invitation?

if he/she is accepted as a buddy on ur list, and you "tick" under privacy settings that only buddies may view your blog, then it should work.

If it still doesn't work, then mitti payo tay boota layo.

u have to add the person in both Buddy List and Journal Buddy list if you wish your buddy to see your PRIVATE blog...

A.Q is right, but A.Q I have never tried this but I do not think you will have to add the person BOTH on “buddy list” and “journal buddy list”, I think “journal buddy list” as itself will do it , wouldnt it?

ASN, it used to work that way... but it does not anymore.. u gotta add buddies in both... adding in either won't solve the issue.

They are on BOTH lists. Still no access. It's not just one person ... it's quite a few.

Mehnaz, is this the case with every one in your buddylist? or just Femme?

Blog moderators is something we are not using on GS, its like having moderators on blogs just like we have here on GS.
