I was wondering, what kind of career outlook does one have with a BSc in Psychology? Or is it better to go with a degree in Biology? I am planning to go into medical school inshallah (crossing fingers). But just in case i can’t, I wanna know which degree is better to go with.
And oh yea, where can i look for that information online as well?
BSc is basically a preparation for a career in research. psychology offers more career options than biology. you can get into clinical psychology or speech pathology for which psychology provides comparatively better foundation.
BSC in BioPsych provides you with more opportunities...the degree usually gives you a broad range of courses to slect from to prepare yourself for a professional school....(giving you a prespctv on Canadian grounds)....as far as the job outlook is concerned...either way you have to have a load of in-school experience to get a hold of new biofirms out there.....
If you want a job immediately after completing BS then don't go for psychology. You would have to have at least a masters degree in psychology in order get a job in that field. I myself was jobless for a long time after completing my Bachelors in Psychology. And then finally had to make up my decision to go for my masters.
But if you like the study of mind and you want to know how human mind works, then go for psychology. I feel it's the most interesting field of all.
