i was wondering, Some ppl tell me that u cant brush ur teeth during ramadan or put on lip gloss

like lip gloss/lip stick i heard cuz of the taste but aint like i lick my lips

the way I understand it is...if you dont eat it or swallow it ...it wont invalidate your fast. Some people dont brush their teeth during their fast because they dont want to accidentally swallow the toothpaste. Lipgloss doesnt go IN your mouth so I dont see how there is a possibility of swallowing it....so it's ok.
