Has anyone tried and bought anything from the website brush111? They claim to sell brand name eyeshadows and brushes for a wholesale price. They are not cheap but at least less than department store prices. Please review the products from this site if you have used it. Are they the actual brand names or very compareable to them? Thanks!

Also, anyone else know what kind of drugstore brand eyeshadow is comparable to MAC? My cousin is getting married next week and she has chosen me as her MC! I have to look good and stand out. I need the makeup to last too. I am nervous of being in the spotlight but I am willing to do this for her. So any recommendations on very affordable eyeshadows would help. Oh and has anyone tried the $12 organic brand brush set from walgreens/rite aid? Thanks!

thanks for any info. I have been so busy with my new job I have not had the time to shop for proper makeup for the wedding. Well I went to MAC but I needed 3 colors for my eye and they cost $48.50 all together with tax! I left in a hurry to avoid being bankrupted. Well, these days for me thats being bankrupt.

L'Oreal HIP pigments are really good and affordable. There is often a sale on that stuff at walgreens or CVS where its like buy one get one free or buy one and get one half off.

And my roomate bought the $12 organic brush set from walgreens and really likes it. I used it to apply makeup on her once and it worked out nicely.

Thanks ladies! Has anyone even heard of brush111? Is it a reliable place to get brushes and eyeshadows or is it a fake? They claim to have MAC and Bobbi Brown products at wholesale prices..not much cheaper but somewhat cheaper..

Have you tried the ELF products...apparently everything is $1, and a whole bunch of us girls ordered products so we could have free shipping...and there products weren't too bad for a buck lol...but i would still prefer the qualiy stuff.

Thanks so much for looking that info up for me PR! and Malika12, yes I have heard of elf but I'm a chicken when it comes to trying it out. It seems too good to be true that most items are only a $1..to me that means it will turn out to be cheap in quality because of its price. And you said yourself you would prefer quality stuff to it. I see you said its good enough for a buck meaning if it was more, even 3 dollars then it would so not be worth it. To me it means its not worth it period..

^ No problem Fanna! and it seems like you have the right idea in regards to the cheaper quality stuff....
Start looking up sales at CVS and Walgreens.... its amazing how much you can stock up on stuff without spending too much. :) And look into that L'Oreal HIP line. Their stuff is really good and the colors are gorgeous.
