Its so true, I cant even laugh about it!
I have to do the Queens English in my profession, me bonny scottish accent is a little wobbly, but im a natural Geordie. How cool am I! :D

I live there for a short while and i m very guilty of saying and using .. Watchaam’ duin? (what are you doing) ay’it (isn’t it just.) and aar (yes, I agree with what you are saying) .... And Yow littul varmint is quite a popular saying around Birmingham...
There is a very good book about the way Brummie speak... written by Dr Carl Chinn , a leading Historian
Its called *Proper Brummie *
