We had this beautiful brown girl Deepika in our head office she had a Masters in Architecture from NY I think, she was very cultured, hard-working, structured and well dressed. She was working under a Diploma holder who didn’t dress that well, seemed like she enjoyed her beverages a bit too much. That my dear is my understanding of white privilege.
I do tell my children that they have to be head and shoulder above the whites to get equal rewards.
