what a beautiful little film. I wasn’t sure about Tobey Maguire… never been a fan of his expressionless face. but that face becomes pretty useful in depicting crazy. Natalie Portman was super as usual. of course, the fact that she is gorgeous also helps. but the surprise package was the older daughter. that little kid was brilliant whoever she is. she was so amazing… don’t know how she conjured up all those expressions.
really good film. the best movie I’ve seen in a long time in terms of performances, etc even though the story isn’t radical.
