Brother Ki Shaadi

Re: Brother Ki Shaadi

Yes my sisters are involved in the process..i do ask them for their feedback and stuff. Besides..my sisters are cool.

Re: Brother Ki Shaadi

Yup...to the point that i gave my opinion and views! Nothing more, nothing less.

Re: Brother Ki Shaadi

Well does a sister have any reason to give an opinion in the first place?

Re: Brother Ki Shaadi

Yap..that is how it is PCG. To the point...my sisters give me their opinion. Ain't no wrong with that.

Re: Brother Ki Shaadi

we are involved, in terms of wanting the best for him and hoping it happens soon, not involved in ristha process at all. the end decision will be his and probably not someone everyone opposes. because thats how our family functions and everyone is different.

Don't see what the issue is. Especially in arranged marriages or where the interaction has been limited, getting other opinions is totally fine, provided the person providing that input is sensible, and the person seeking the opinion can get multiple opinions but make the call.

Re: Brother Ki Shaadi

Cause they’re family?

Re: Brother Ki Shaadi

If a friend was to give an opinion you wouldn't think that was odd, would you? So why would it be an issue if a sister also did?

Giving an opinion is fine but to me overstepping the mark would be if she thought she had the right to make a final decision.. Only the guy himself has that right imo..

So if the guy has the right and it's his choice to give a yay or nay authority to his sister, then what?
