Bronzers?

How many people use bronzers to get a bronzey glow or to contour? I was thinking of getting Laguna by NARS. What do you guys use/suggest?

Re: Bronzers?

mac bronzers are lush

Re: Bronzers?

i use bronzers daily before blush to give some warmth to my cheeks. i use mac msf natural in dark (with the 187) and then mac bronzer in bronze which gives just the right amount of shine without being sparkly or glittery. if i'm going out or it's a wedding or something, then i will use the msf with a small powder brush to contour my cheeks and nose.

Re: Bronzers?

Originally I use the Chanel Bronze Universel, the one in a pot which is creamy, and it’s very natural looking and easy to build up for a more defining look without turning orange.

I got another one though which is new by Clarins, it might be sold for a limited time because it’s from their summer collection, but it’s so so so pretty and now one of my favorite cheek products

Re: Bronzers?

Thanks for the replies, ladies. And Cinnamonroll, I have been looking for that after seeing a youtube guru use it but it isn't available here in the US, the clarins one. Boo, it looks gorgeous though.

Has anyone here used Laguna by NARS?

Re: Bronzers?

Oh maybe it's gonna come out later, otherwise, the Guerlain mosaic ones are comparable to the Clarins one except that they have more shimmers, i really love the mosaic types because they give definition, colur and a nice glow and they last all day, so definitely check them out if you can find them, have you checked the Clarins us website ?

I have used Laguna but didn't care much for it, it's just bleh, but i've heard a lot of people like it

Re: Bronzers?

my bestie used to love guerlain terracotta bronzing powder.

Re: Bronzers?

I have checked the site but it seems to be in the UK only, and why dont you like Laguna? The slight shimmer in it?

Re: Bronzers?

I use a little bronzer with my everyday makeup. I think you need a little bit of it in order to make your makeup look natural. I use it for subtle contouring, and I don't use anything with shimmer because I have very oily skin and a round face and anything with shimmer emphasizes the roundness. I use L'oreal true match powder foundation in a shade 5x darker than my skin as the bronzer.

Re: Bronzers?

for contouring I dont use a shimmery bronzer, i use a matt powder which is 3x lighter than my skin tone. Its by a drugstore company called UNE
