It will be DirecTV, as they have the rights for West Indies. On the internet, DirecTV hooks up with Willow.tv for coverage both within US as well as internationally.

Rogers & Bell pick it up via negociations with the 'copyright' owners prior to last few days of the match dates, therefore its presumably fair to say "Test match" might come free on ATN or ARY. ODI on PPV as always,,,

The only series which Dish Network plans to telecast is pakistan vs England in November and the ICC super challenge series in september (BTW couple of months ago,Dish have got the rights for all Paki home games till 2008) Pakistan vs westindies will be shown by direct tv in USA, the web cast in USA will be available on Willow tv http://www.willow.tv/EventMgmt/Default.asp and is pretty expensive. I guess they have 2 package which includes pakistan matches, one for $209 and other for $199. The are covering the entire westindian season, Ashes etc
I started looking for some other packages available online and found out that setanta will be showing it in USA. Hopefully webcast in USA will also be available on http://www.setanta.tv/. However Setanta havn’t yet announced the schedule or package prcie.

ARY is alot better than Sony. (actually never had any problem with ARY broadcasting cricket)
Sony, They messed up too many times and dont deserve any thing at such large scale.
Once during the 2nd ODI, they just changed the frequency and started broadcasting the match through a different channel (sony middle east) And we missed the whole match. Then there were random black outs, no one knew what was wrong and if it changed the fequency yet again.

For all Canadian Viewers, if DirectTV is showing the matches, than the only option (read: legal option) is to get the matches off Willow... that's what I had to do for the Aus-Pak series - it had cost me around $120 USD for the entire series including test matches as well as ODIs... hopefully it wouldn't be much more than that this time around as well.
PPV in Canada usually only has matches off Dish Network - and yes, that goes for both Rogers as well as ExpressVu.

^ fkhan, that is expensive indeed, but wait until you get closer to the start of the series... there might be a cheaper package for just the WI-Pak series available at that time.

Well I am looking forward to what setanta Tv will offer. I hope they come up with a a cheaper package. As far as willow tv goes , i know they won't offer any more package. I bought their cricket 04 (which included Pak aussie series and other series as well) and even at that time they stick to what they initially offered till the start of Pak Aussie series. I was really sick of dish network offerinng expensive cricket packages. I don't remember how many $ i spent on all the PPV eevents since WC 03 and when direct tv started showing cricket last year i was seriously hoping that they are going to end dish network monopoly in USA, but guess what they are also following their foot steps.

Is cricket ever going to become a bit more main stream so a normal person could atleast watch it on cable over here in north amreeka? This PPV dealy sucks big time.
