I dont think any one would like to live under imperialism, but given a choice I think desi is still better.

Why not ask would you live in Hong Kong or present day Pakistan? Brits left Hong Kong not long ago & look what they left behind? Giant economic engine for China and Asia.

Neither. This depicts the slave mentality. When I look at India and Bangladesh, once all three countries including Pakistan was one country and very prospered. Both India and Bangladesh had tremendously progressed economically and politically as compared to Pakistan after getting independence from the bondage in1947 and 1971 respectively. Unfortunately Pakistanis continued to prefer desi imperialism enforced by the military, formed the worst kind of slavery then British imperialism which followed laws, applied laws equally and tried to develop India. On the other hand desi imperialism is corrupt, enforce laws for poor people and consider themselves above the laws of Pakistan. This is worst form of slavery. As long Pakistanis tow this line of slavery, Pakistanis will continue to face hard times in future till it exists on the world map. They have to come out from the bondage of desi imperialism to prosper. There is absolutely no other solution.

Hong Kong Poulation is much less than as compared to Pakistan, 7 vs 170 millions. Moreover Hong Kong has about 93.6% of the people are of Chinese descent. There is no concept of Muslim non-Muslim, Shia, Sunni, Talibobs etc. They are very intelligent and hardworking unlike corrupt Pakistanis. Go figure how they became a giant economic engine.

It's an interesting question. From everything that I have read I would rather live under desi imperialism rather than face discrimination for my race.
But towards the end of his life my maternal grandfather, who lived under both, told me that life was better under British rule. Mind you, this was at the time when Karachi was descending fast into massive crime and chaos.

Its not about population, but about ethics & systems and structures of a society that produces productive citizenry. Goras are simply good at things, like running a administration, and we are not (we work fine in gora systems/countries, but we screw it when we run it). Btw, Pakistan downfall started when religion became the government.
